THANK YOU!!
Dear
Charolais Enthusiast:
You are cordially invited to join Charolais breeders from around the world here in the United
States for the 2010 World Charolais Congress. The American-International Charolais Association is
hosting this 36th Annual event that will travel from the heart of the U.S. starting in Oklahoma City,
Oklahoma and end with a multi-cultural experience in the beautiful city of San Antonio, Texas.
In past years, several U.S. breeders and the AICA staff have embarked on the interesting journey
that the World Congress provides, visiting countries and Charolais operations in Australia, Hungary,
Czech Republic and Slovakia, just to name a few.
On the 2010 tour, you will see some of the leading Charolais operations in the U.S. and visit stateof-
the-art facilities including working feedlots. The eight day event will give you a close up look at the
U.S. cattle industry, while you take in the hospitality of the old West with plenty of “cowboys and culture”.
The entertainment will include a visit to the National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum,
enjoying the historic Fort Worth Stockyards and see the “World’s Largest Honky Tonk” at Billy Bob’s
Texas. We will be traveling to the Rio Grande Valley area in the southernmost tip of Texas, visiting the
coastal town of Corpus Christi and then moving on to the tour finale` in San Antonio. We’ll stay in the
heart of the city where you will be treated to experiencing the beautiful River Walk area. You will enjoy
first class accommodations in each city and plenty of time to take in the sights of Oklahoma and Texas.
More details will be revealed soon for the May 13-21, 2010 tour. Watch the AICA website for
further details and registration forms that will be available January 1, 2010. We know it will be an
experience you won’t want to miss. Make plans to join us and see great Charolais cattle ranches and meet
friendly people.
It is a rare opportunity to participate in the World Congress right here in the United States. People
of all ages are encouraged to attend this wonderful event. We look forward to seeing you again in 2010!
Sincerely,
J. Neil Orth
AICA Executive Vice President
